I was just sent a link to this stunningly /massive/ archive of character references, concept art and designs
the sheer amount of images they have here is ridiculous, all (most) of which is sourced correctly
thank you to the user who sent this to me
reblogging this here because this archive is absolutely incredible
I stumbled upon these and love them! If you struggle with hands (like me) these are great for practice and referencing. Thought I’d share my finds with other artists~.
*O*
Some building block references my Life Drawing teacher drew up for us for our Figure Drawing class. Thought I would impart the wisdom.
4 all u kids who wanna study some figure drawing/anatomy
- Figure Drawing For All It’s Worth - Andrew Loomis >PDF download<
- Mastering Drawing The Human Figure - Jack Faragasso >PDF download<
- Figure Drawing Design and Invention - Michael Hampton >PDF download<

aww! I love your art style!
Finally got a scan of those stupid oil paintings (the two characters at the top.) They still look hella better in real life…. I have to get better at getting scans/photos of traditional work… it’s prevented me from posting alot…. Ugh.
I included the digital color studies for the two oil paintings again— just so you can see the similarities/changes.
The two studies below are for the oil paintings I’ll be working on over the next couple of weeks. Along with the oil badge I’ll be working on… but i havent done a study for that yet. Soon!
